The hotel's perfect location made it easy to access good shops, restaurants, Skiddaw, and Catbells. The Wainwright was conveniently located just a short stroll away for a quick drink before bedtime.

The stay was just perfect and I will be back. Everything was very good, exceptional service, handy location near the lake and the town as well as the centre. I have just spent 3 days in double room and liked it. The beds with hypoallergenic pillows were very comfy.
